New information on Gold Cobra

Fred and Wes gave us some brand new information about the upcoming studio album. Check 'em out below:

Fred:
- Gold Cobra NOT coming out in June, but sometime this summer.
- There are some amazing guitar solos in the record.
- Chocolate Starfish riffs are nothing compared to Gold Cobra riffs.
- No collaboration with Neil Diamond. That was April Fool's joke.

Wes:
- Vocally every song is tied together somehow in Gold Cobra.
- I liked RMV and some songs are fun to play live.

Limp Bizkit on Jay Leno Show

Limp Bizkit is going to play on Jay Leno's Tonight Show on May 10. Here's what Fred said on Twitter:

The Tonight Show with Jay Leno airs on NBC weeknights at 11:35PM - EST. The song, however, has not been revealed yet.

"We have songs that are extremely aggressive yet palatable and kind of like universal and we have songs that aren't as aggressive and have these other flavours that are still really fun to listen to."

Some of the other highlights include:

- Release date not yet sure (definitely this summer)
- a single or 2 dropping sooner or later
- mixing and mastering right now
- not all songs for the record picked yet
- Wes picked the name "Gold Cobra"
- They are friends now with Corey Taylor and Trent Reznor, and are all on good terms now
- Wes says it's the best record they've made
- This is not a cash-in reunion, it's a full-blown comeback
