New information on Gold Cobra

Fred and Wes gave us some brand new information about the upcoming studio album. Check 'em out below:

Fred:
- Gold Cobra NOT coming out in June, but sometime this summer.
- There are some amazing guitar solos in the record.
- Chocolate Starfish riffs are nothing compared to Gold Cobra riffs.
- No collaboration with Neil Diamond. That was April Fool's joke.

Wes:
- Vocally every song is tied together somehow in Gold Cobra.
- I liked RMV and some songs are fun to play live.

-Psyco Killer is a film that fred will direct someday, and he talked with Mickey Rourke
-The Armpit is a cool community with some really good thoughts, but they demand too much sometimes.

-Combat Jazz (which is a working title) is probably one of the most brutal, heavy, sickest LB grooves/songs we've ever written. It makes Break Stuff sound like a walk in the park.
-If you don't really like a heavy groove, an assault, you're going to hate limp bizkit
-Douchebag is a working title, but will probably stay as Douchebag
-This is America (collaboration with Aaron Lewis of Staind) may not be in the album
-Solo Record from fred durst has been recorded a few years ago. It features, Elvis Costello's Bass player and a few other musicians. It may not be released though.
-FULL US TOUR starting in june , but when he has some names confirmed he will post it.

Limp Bizkit, Korn and RATM touring in Latin America together

The brazilian website Live at U brought us good news! It says that Limp Bizkit, Korn and Rage Against the Machine are negotiating to tour together in Latin America!
Read the translation below:"The same producers that brought METALLICA to South America are planning to bring these 3 bands over here! This is almost a done deal.

That's right! Rage Against The Machine, Korn and Limp Bizkit, three of the biggest names in rock / metal are planning a tour that will last throughout Latin America and that includes, for our happiness, Brazil!

Negotiations had started we had already mentioned here in Liveatu, but now, sources said the site HumoNegro.com negotiations are already advanced, in fact, well advanced!

The producer in charge of the negotiations in Brazil and Argentina try to join the trio to go on tour in March, from the beginning of April in Brazil, Chile and Argentina, the latter in the event Quilmes Rock 2010.

In addition to rumors, Fred Durst, lead singer of Limp Bizkit, posted today on its Twitter "will ROCK Bizkit Latin America."

Aaron Lewis on Gold Cobra

Fred posted a picture of himself and Aaron Lewis on Twitpic recently, mentioning that they were working on music together!

The frontman of Staind confirmed it!

"It's Official guys! Aaron Lewis had a chat with his fans on http://www.987fm.com and I asked him about the song he recorded yesterday in Fred's studio.

He told me the song is called "This Is America" and WILL be on the Gold Cobra. He also told me that Fred is rapping in the verses, whereas Aaron is singing in the choruses. Finally they came up with the title because of Aaron's lyrics for the chorus!
This is big news!"
